Welcome to The National Nutritional Foods Association of Japan’s Web page.
NNFA Japan is a trade association dedicated to representing the interests of dietary supplement and health food companies who market their products to the Japanese consumer. Our members include both large and small firms from the United States, Japan and elsewhere. Our mission is to assure that all Japanese consumers have access to dietary supplements and health foods that will benefit their health.

All NNFA Japan members are required to comply with our Code of Ethics which states that they;

	Will sell or supply only those foods and food supplements that may be helpful to consumers who seek to maintain or improve physical fitness and good nutrition or seek to correct nutritional deficiencies.
	Will not engage in the treatment, diagnosis or prescribing for any pathology unless lawfully licensed to do so.
	Will not knowingly sell or supply those foods that contain harmful chemical additives or artificial ingredients that are alien to the recognized concept of natural foods, nor will knowingly deal in products that are untruthfully labeled.
	Will not engage in false or misleading advertising.
	Will support all public measures that protect the environment, safeguard our natural resources and improve the quality of life.
	Will cooperate with all professional, educational, civic and consumer organizations that support greater nutritional information and consumer rights.

NNFA JapanのWebページにようこそおいで下さいました。
NNFA Japanは、日本の消費者に栄養補助食品や健康食品を供給する業者の利益団体です。この団体にはメンバーとして、日米及びその他の国々の大企業から小企業まで参加しております。NNFA Japanの使命は、日本の消費者なら誰でも健康増進に役立つ栄養補助食品や健康食品を確実に入手出来る環境を作ることにあります。

NNFA Japan のメンバーは全員下に掲げる倫理規定を遵守することが義務付けられております：販売あるいは供給される食品及び栄養補助食品は、栄養不足を解消しようと努める消費者や、優れた栄養状態やより良い健康状態を保持しようと努める消費者にとって有効なもののみに限定すること。

法律によって許可されている場合を除いて病理学的な処置、診断、処方に係わり合いを持たないこと。

自然食品の定着概念にそぐわないような有害化学添加物や人工成分を含むと知りながら、販売
したり、供給したりしないこと。　更に、真実と異なるレーベル添付商品を、それと知りながら取り扱わないこと。

真実と異なるあるいは誤解を招くような宣伝をしないこと。

環境保護、自然資源保護およびクオリティー・オブ・ライフを向上させるような全ての公共活動を支援すること。

消費者権利を保護し、消費者により多くの栄養情報をもたらすプロ集団、教育集団、市民集団、消費者集団に協力すること。
